From the observation platform you can enjoy striking views of both Kowloon and the Victoria Harbor. Hong Kong is also a perfect city to see by foot as it has some of the best hiking trails in Asia. Walking is a great way to see how people in Hong Kong live. You can wander and observe the local customs of Hong Kong residents without having to go a great distance.

Traditions

There are plenty of traditional heritage locations to see while in Hong Kong. You can go to the Ping Shan Heritage Trail and pass some of the ancient sights including the walled Hakka village of Tsang Tai Uk, the Fu Shin Street Bazaar, as well as a number of historic temples. These temples, having been around for thousands of years, are a wonderful tourist destination in Hong Kong. The best museum to see in Hong Kong is the Hong Kong Museum of History in Kowloon. This museum offers an excellent overview of Hong Kong’s rich history.

Getting Around

When in Hong Kong, it is a good idea to travel on a bus or tram to see all the different experiences Hong Kong has to offer. Not only is this a cheap, safe option for seeing Hong Kong, it also allows you to view many different lifestyles in the districts in a small amount of time. Hiking is another fantastic way to view Hong Kong. It is a great way to appreciate the scenic landscapes that include mountains, beaches and breathtaking cityscapes. The starting points for most of these hiking trails are accessed by bus or taxi.

Hong Kong is one of the most interesting travel experiences anywhere in the World. People who are planning a trip there will find no shortage of attractions to see and do.
